Q: How many matches can I log in the journal?
A: The Codex Journal includes 80 match review templates, now including the addition of Milestone reviews after every 10 matches logged.

A: Yes! The premium 60# paper handles various writing tools without bleed-through.
Q: Is the journal suitable for all levels of Flesh and Blood players?
A: Absolutely! Whether you’re a local Armory attendee or a ProQuest competitor, Codex Journal is designed to help you grow, no matter your current level.
Q: Is this journal judge-friendly?
A: Yes—the Hero Series journals are spiral-bound, allowing them to lay flat so you can easily use the Life Tracker during games without flipping through pages.
However, please remember: excessive note-taking during official match play is not permitted under tournament rules. These journals are designed to be a training and reflection tool, meant to be used before and after games—not for in-depth analysis mid-match. Use them to prepare, reflect, and grow—not to record turns during active play. Always respect event guidelines and judges’ rulings.

Love the journal. Each page covers way moreinfo than I expected, but it'sled to some real growth for me in my FaB results. I've been recommending this book to my entire play group.
This book is amazing. I wanted something to keep track of life, but was also strongly desiring to take notes after games and keep better track of my opponents. This book does all of that and more! One of my friends told me about it and I immediately bought one. The shipping takes a while, but once it arrived, it's been a godsend!
I like the Codex Journal a lot. It is exactly the type of resource FaB players want when keeping track of competitive play. The options for Game information is detailed and deliberate. Overall for the price I think the quality of the journal is to par. I think there is to much space for the life totals. I was using a small journal to keep track of life before so I feel like the space given for life can be used for something else. What might be nice is a condensed version of the Game info taking up half the page with the life tracking section taking up the other half. I would also like more covers and customizations for the journal.
The Codex Journal is a great tool for maximizing in-person practice. It takes the place of Google Docs or any other application you might use for note taking, while also prompting deep thought and reflection. What I have loved most about my Codex Journal is how it facilitates discussion with my testing partners--reflecting on standout plays and notable decisions is an exercise best performed by two people. Giving myself a reminder to ask questions after a game is incredibly helpful.
Top-notch customer service. Love the physical notebook and the digital companion is perfect. Highly recommend for Flesh and Blood players of all levels that are looking to up-level their game.
